My dear Mumford,
I am sorry to know that there have been symptoms of the recurrence of your trouble, and write this line just to say that while we would be glad to have you with us on Monday, you must not attempt to come up unless you are feeling perfectly fit, I shall be at the office probably until the middle of August and can see you any time you are up in town. Mr. Graham, I am glad to say, is much better than he was, and was at the office yesterday.
