Dear Dr. Maclagan,
I have just read your note re the medical exam & have written to Dr. Stannus.
Don’t let the above address alarm! I have once more entered Hospt. as a patient & once more gone under a general anaesthetic & submitted to the surgeon’s scapel. You are entitled to know about it & I’ll endeavor to give an idea of the business.
For over 20 years, I have been a victim of recurrent headaches. No specialist (I’ve seen a fair number I regret to say) ever succeeded in locating the source of the trouble & as the pain usually settled behind the eyes I usually settled with a visit to an oculist for a new pair of specs!
