Miss Butler served in Taiwan from 1885-1924. She and Miss Joan Stuart took their journey to Taiwan together in 1885, then started her efforts at Sinlou Girls School, the first Western standard girl school in southern Taiwan. She spent his life serving God for 40 years in Tainan and Changhua.
