Dear Dr. Maclagan
Herewith to report progress etc, I am thankful to say that I find myself getting definitely stronger as week succeeds week + I am now able for more exercise + recreation. Also there is now no further suggestion of the old enemy lurking in my innards. I’m still dieting + and will continue to “take care”. We hope to leave for Selly Oak on Wednesday next 18th inst. We’ve booked a flat at the Missionary Guest House. I hope for opportunities for Post Grad Work in the local teaching Hospitals & have been promised facilities by the Dean of the Fac. Of the Medicine of the Univ. My wife and kiddie XXX. The latter was baptized by Rev. Conley Eades before a large congreg. Last Sunday & seemed to enjoy it!

　目前無事情可回報，但好在我近期身體一週比一週還好，現在能做更多運動且從事休閒活動，身體似乎也沒有過去的老毛病。我還在控制飲食，會持續顧好自己身體。我們期望能於下個月18號（週三）前往賽利橡樹，我們已訂好宣教士招待所的房間。我希望能於畢業後至當地教學醫院工作，大學的醫學院主任也答應將缺額保留給我。講到我太太與我孩子，我孩子上週日在教會面前由Conley Eades牧師施洗，看起來挺享受！
