Marjorie was born in Crownthorpe, Norfolk, England, and was the wife of Dr. David Landsborough III. She finished her missionary training at the Women Missionary Training Seminary in Edinburgh in 1909 and arrived in Taiwan in early 1910. She met Dr. David Landsborough III in the Taiwan Mission Council meeting in 1911, then fell in Love and married in 1912. Their first child, David Landsborough IV, was born in 1914 in Changhua. She supported her husband dedicatedly in operating Changhua Christian Hospital, teaching music, and training the CHanuhua church’s choir for worship service.
