Mrs. Moody was born in Glasgow and daughter of Rev. William Findlay.

They married at Chalmers United Free Church, Larkhall, Lanarkshire in 1908 when Reverend Moody returned to Scotland for vacation. After the wedding, they did not stay in their hometown for a long time but back to Taiwan soon.

Mrs. Moody supported Reverend Moody's church services and did not have time for rest. She rested in peace because of tropical disease in 1915 and was buried in Changhua.
