Both Tainan Sinlou Hospital and Changhua Christian Hospital trained many local disciples to become Medical Doctors and Nurses to enhance the hospital's human resources capacity to offer more services for quickly growing patient volume.

Dr. David Landsborough III had trained over 90 local doctors, he also established a nurse training program at Changhua Christian Hospital.

Dr. Peter Anderson and Dr. James L. Maxwell Jr. made the same efforts to train doctors and nurses in Taiwan.
